ITS NATIONAL ARCHITECTURE

means a common framework for ITS interoperability. The National ITS Architecture comprises the logical architecture and physical architecture which satisfy a defined set of user services. All of these documents are controlled by the FHWA, and are updated on an as-needed basis. New versions of the documents, when they are issued, will be available from the FHWA in hard copy and electronic format on the DOT web site at http://www.its.dot.gov.
