C.E.A. UNIT

CAB

CAB INDICATOR-AUDIBLE

An alerting device, located in a transit vehicle cab equipped with cab signals, designed to sound when cab signal changes and continues to sound until acknowledged.

CAB PASS

A card, when properly completed, authorizes the individual whose name appears on the card to be in the operating cab with the train operator. The Central Control Facility (CCF) shall be properly notified.

CAB SIGNAL

The Automatic Train Protection (ATP) speed limit as transmitted to the train by wayside equipment. Also see Operating Modes (Light Rail).
