1886:  The Colorado Street Railroad Company is incorporated.

 

 

1929:  The California State Legislature passes Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 19, directing the Department of Public Works to make a study of the State highway system and routes which might properly be added thereto.

1957:  California Governor Goodwin J. Knight participates in ceremonies opening to the public a two-mile section of the San Diego Freeway from Ohio Street to Casiano Road.

1981:  Southern California Rapid Transit District dedicates a new transportation building at Division One.

The new building is a replica of the one built at Division 5 and was designed in-house by the District’s Bus Facilities Engineering Department.
