1974:  An articulated bus manufactured by Volvo and seating up to 75 people debuts on the streets of Los Angeles as part of a demonstration program to test the feasibility of high capacity vehicles.

2026: Groundbreaking for the North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line takes place at Glendale City Hall’s Perkins Plaza. The 18-mile BRT line will connect the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley with 22 stops in North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock, and Pasadena.
