1955: Metropolitan Coach Lines puts its “Snow White” coach into service between Downtown Los Angeles and Disneyland.
As it pulls into Main Street in front of Disney’s City Hall, it is greeted by Walt Disney, the Mousekateers and a 16 piece band.
The event is recorded on film, which is now lost.
Disney Studio artists had transformed the bus exterior and interiors with a specially painted Snow White theme.
The Disneyland express service bus leaves downtown daily at 9:45am.
