1975: Evacuations are underway as SCRTD buses stand by during the Big Tujunga Fire, which ultimately burn more than 65,000 acres.

Los Angeles Police Department and several area agencies requested SCRTD provide stand-by buses in case of possible emergency evacuation from several convalescent homes in the area.
