2004:  Construction begins on the first segment of the Metro Gold Line Eastside Extension.Bus stop sign advertising the Metro Gold Line Eastside Extension coming in 2009.Construction crews pull up 250 feet of track between the baggage-handling road and the Metro Gold Line Union Station platform, while crews begin preliminary work in preparation for a five-week Caltrans project to construct a bridge over the I-101 Freeway.
